great read and wishing this reaches more people that would benefit from your analysis i feel this is spot on

this has been a topic ive been seeing surfacing in variety of contexts - and see there is trend of addiction developing and/or being identified : people have been developing a dependance and having a real hard time quitting.

i can attest i was addicted in my earlier years i was using it to disassociate. in more recent years have a problem with it as it can send my nervous system into very serious distress. sharing in case this offers relatability for others.

as with everything : be clear and intentional with, especially medicines

thank you Kyle! Yes, clear intention ... and our parts still lie and use it to disconnect.

This is great Anna. A helpful light into this corner. For me, your words here work for any substance - I replaced Cannabis with 'icecream' and 'my phone' and found this helpful. Thanks!

And indeed, as it is often the case, it's not just one OR the other, it's often both. Intentional in those vivid & woke occasions, and automatic when some of your parts think 'i deserve this'.
